Inspired by the quintessential holiday treat, Terry's Chocolate Oranges, but delicious anytime of year (hello Christmas in July!), these Chocolate Orange Bubbles Brownies are a nostalgic fusion of rich chocolate flavor and zesty orange goodness. Baked to fudgy perfection and  infused with a burst of sweet citrus tang thanks to JUST Valencia Orange, these brownies get a final indulgent touch from chunks of Terry's Chocolate Orange slices for an extra layer of fa-la-la-la-lavor. 

Any way you slice it (see what we did there?), these bomba** brownies are about to solidify your spot as baker baddie for life. 

What You’ll Need…

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup JUST Valencia Orange
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Terry’s Chocolate Orange

What You’ll Do…

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 8x8 pan by spraying with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl mix cocoa powder and baking soda. Add 1/3 cup vegetable oil and JUST Bubbles, continue to mix. Add sugar, eggs, remaining 1/3 cup vegetable oil, flour, vanilla, orange zest, and salt. Mix with hand mixer until combined.
  3. Chop 1 of the chocolate oranges into bite sized pieces and add to the mix, giving it a stir with a spoon.
  4. Pour and spread evenly into the 8x8 pan.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes.
  6.  As soon as the brownies come out of the oven, layer 12 Terry’s Chocolate Orange segments evenly over the surface of the brownies. 
  7.  Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
  8. Serve & enjoy!
