March Madness Mint-jito




Lime Mint Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Zest + Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 sprigs of mint



To make the simple syrup:

  1. Use a small saucepan over low heat and add all of the ingredients to the pan.
  2. Allow it to simmer gently until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Pour simple syrup through a strainer into an airtight container to store in the fridge until you are ready to use.

To make the Mint-jito:

  1. Simply muddle the wedge of lime and mint leaves into the bottom of a tall cocktail glass
  2. Add ice to the glass, all the way to the top.
  3. Pour in 1.5 Tbsp of simple syrup, and 2 oz white rum.
  4. Top with JUST Bubbles and a sprig of mint for garnish.
