With summer coming in hot (literally), it’s time to tighten up the diet and focus on making a few nutrition tweaks to feel our best when we hit the beach. We’re talking ditching the glazed donuts for glazing up in sunscreen for a tanning sesh by the pool, kickin’ the cookies to the curb, and waving buh-bye to calorie-bomb beer we guzzled through March Madness and football season. But if you enjoy a brewskie now and again to accompany your summertime BBQs, don’t fret! Today’s recipe for a non-alcohoilic beer dupe is our secret weapon to summer sippin’ without compromising our wellness goals.

Grab your favorite beer glass, your favorite beer buddies, and fire up the grill—it’s time to get summertime fine and enjoy ourselves doing it.

What You’ll Need…

  • 1 cup Lemon, Lime, or Original Bubbles
  • 1 teaspoon hop extract or a few dried hops (for that beer-like flavor)
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup or honey (optional, for sweetness)
  • Fresh herbs (like mint or basil) for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedges for garnish

What You’ll Do…

  1. In a tall glass, combine the Bubbles flavor of choice with hop extract or the steeped liquid from dried hops.
  2. Squeeze in the juice of half a lime. This adds a zesty kick that balances the flavors perfectly. If you like it a bit sweeter, stir in the agave syrup or honey to taste.
  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes to keep your drink nice and chilled.
  4. Add a sprig of fresh mint or basil for an aromatic touch. Don’t forget a lime wedge on the rim.
  5. Sip, serve, and enjoy!
