  • 4 slices of cooked bacon (either plant-based or traditional meat option)
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1 small avocado, slice
For the spread:
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

What You’ll Do…

Prepare the Spread:
  • In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Assemble the Sandwich:
  • Lay out the two large lettuce leaves flat on a clean surface.
  • Spread the mayo mixture evenly over each lettuce leaf.
  • Layer the bacon slices on one lettuce leaf.
  • Add the tomato slices on top of the bacon.
  • Place the avocado slices over the tomatoes.
  • Top with the second lettuce leaf spread side down.
Packing for Lunch:
  • To keep the sandwich fresh and prevent it from getting soggy, wrap it tightly in parchment paper or plastic wrap.
  • Place the wrapped sandwich in an airtight container.
  • Pack some extra avocado slices or cherry tomatoes as a side snack.

Tips:

  • Keep Ingredients Fresh: Store ingredients like tomatoes and avocados in separate small containers and assemble the sandwich at lunchtime to keep it fresh and crisp.
  • Add Variety: Experiment with different spreads like a spicy sriracha mayo or a garlic aioli for added flavor.
  • Include Snacks: Pair your BLT sandwich with keto-friendly snacks like nuts, cheese cubes, or a small salad to make your lunch more filling.

Clean Low-Calorie Lemonade Recipe

What You’ll Need…

  • 1 JUST Still Water 16.9oz carton
  • 1 fresh lemon
  • 1-2 teaspoons stevia, erythritol, or monk fruit, or honey (but this option will add carbs and sugar to the drink)
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

What You’ll Do…

Prepare the Lemon:
  • Roll the lemon on a countertop with your palm to release the juices.
  • Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a small bowl or directly into your water bottle. You should get about 2-3 tablespoons of juice.
Mix the Lemonade:
  • Open the JUST Still Water carton and take a few sips to make room for the lemon juice and sweetener.
  • Pour the fresh lemon juice into the carton.
  • Add 1-2 teaspoons of honey or your preferred natural sweetener. If using honey, you may want to mix it with a little warm water first to help it dissolve.
Shake It Up:
  • Close the carton tightly.
  • Shake vigorously to mix the lemon juice and sweetener thoroughly with the water.
Optional Add-ins:
  • If you have access to a refrigerator at work, you can add ice cubes to keep it chilled.
