If there's one thing we believe firmly at JUST, doing good by your body is equally as important as doing good by the planet.

We also believe chocolate deserves a spot on the menu everyday, because life's too short to live off of the diet of a rabbit. That’s why we took the nostalgia of an ice cream float, swapped in Greek yogurt for ice cream, and topped it with Original Bubbles, the perfectly popping sugar-free soda alternative.

The result is a dessert-inspired drink that's creamy, light, and dialed in with the right amount of carbs and protein your muscles are asking for post-workout. So drop the shaker bottle, step away from the cardboard protein bars, and get ready to actually enjoy your post-workout fuel up.

Sparkling Chocolate Protein Float

What you need:

  • 1 can Original Bubbles
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2–3 tbsp milk (dairy or your favorite alternative), to thin
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder, for garnish

What you'll do:

  1. Whisk the chocolate protein powder with the milk in a small bowl or shaker until smooth and lump-free.
  2. Fold in the Greek yogurt until it's silky and well combined.
  3. Spoon the mixture into the bottom of a tall glass.
  4. Slowly pour in the Original Bubbles, letting it fizz up around the yogurt the way root beer floats have been doing since the dawn of time.
  5. Give it one gentle stir to swirl the chocolate through, finish with a dusting of chocolate shavings or cocoa powder, and grab a spoon and a straw, because this one requires both.

Why It's the Post-Workout Move

This isn't just a treat with good intentions. It's actually built for the window after a workout, when your body is primed to refuel. Greek yogurt brings a hit of natural carbs (mostly from lactose) alongside its own protein, while the chocolate protein powder rounds things out to a well-balanced carb-to-protein ratio — the combination nutrition folks generally point to for helping muscles recover and restock the glycogen you just burned through. The Original Bubbles on top adds volume and a satisfying fizz without diluting any of that nutritional value with added sugar. Basically, it tastes like you're cheating your recovery shake. You're not.
