Remember sprinting down the street as you summon your  inner Usain Bolt in a desperate attempt to catch the circus-type music blasting from your neighborhood ice cream truck? Those were the days, huh? Maybe we should start dangling an ice cream cone in front of the treadmills at the gym. Might make cardio a little less soul-sucking (but I guess that kind of defeats the purpose of being on the treadmill to begin with. Rude).

Okay, back to the ice cream truck. If you skipped the creepy cartoon face pops with the rock hard gumball eyeballs, you probably went with our personal favorite, the Rocket Pop. Those red, white, and blue popsicles were the quintessential summertime favorite. They said “see ya school, I’ve got ice cream trucks to chase, sprinklers to run through, pools to jump in, and a later bedtime because school nights aren’t a thing”. Now let's call an Uber to take us back to now from our trip down memory lane and talk about why we’re all here–the Rocket Pop Mocktail. We’ve taken that kiddie classic & given them a spirit-free twist, without compromising the nostalgia. So if you’re ready for a summer sip that takes you back without causing you to end up on your back as you suffer through all those hangover feels.

What You’ll Need…

  • 2 oz Grenadine
  • 6 oz lemonade
  • 6 oz Lemon Bubbles
  • 2 oz Blue Raspberry Kool-Aid (pre-made)
  • 2 Bomb Pop popsicles
  • 2 cups ice

What You’ll Do…

  1. Pour one ounce of Grenadine into the bottom of your glass. You will notice the Grenadine starts to rise with the ice.
  2. Fill your glass with ice and slowly pour in the Lemon Bubbles & lemonade until roughly 1-2 inches remain at the top of the glass.
  3. Next, carefully pour the Kool-Aid on top.
  4. Serve with a Rocket Pop plopped into each glass & enjoy!
