Team Argentina: Naranja y Dulce de Leche Float

Inspired by Argentina's love of dulce de leche and orange-kissed desserts (think alfajores de naranja), this float pairs rich caramel ice cream with bright citrus bubbles for a creamy-bubbly contrast.

Serves 1

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 scoops dulce de leche ice cream (vanilla works as a substitute)
  • 1 can (16 fl oz) Valencia Orange Bubbles, chilled
  • 1 tbsp dulce de leche sauce, warmed slightly for drizzling
  • Orange zest, for garnish
  • Optional: crushed alfajor cookie or shortbread crumbs for topping
  • Optional: a few fresh mint leaves

What You’ll Do:

  1. Drizzle about a teaspoon of dulce de leche around the inside of a tall glass, letting it streak down the sides.
  2. Add the two scoops of dulce de leche ice cream to the glass.
  3. Slowly pour the Valencia Orange Bubbles over the ice cream — pour gently down the side of the glass to build a nice foamy head without overflowing.
  4. Drizzle the remaining dulce de leche over the top.
  5. Finish with a sprinkle of orange zest and crushed alfajor cookie crumbs, plus a mint leaf if using.
  6. Serve immediately with a spoon and a straw.

Team Spain: Fresas con Nata Float

Fresas con nata (fresh strawberries piled with sweetened whipped cream),  is a fixture at Spanish spring fairs and cafés. This float turns the classic into a fizzy, creamy dessert drink using Strawberry Bubbles.

Serves 1

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream (or strawberry ice cream for extra fruitiness)
  • 1 can (16 fl oz) Strawberry Bubbles, chilled
  • 2–3 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced, plus 1 whole strawberry for garnish
  • 2 tbsp lightly sweetened whipped cream
  • Optional: a drizzle of strawberry syrup or jam

What You’ll Do:

  1. Add the sliced strawberries to the bottom of a tall glass.
  2. Add the vanilla ice cream on top of the strawberries.
  3. Slowly pour the Strawberry Bubbles over the ice cream, pouring gently down the side to build foam without overflowing.
  4. Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
  5. Garnish with the whole strawberry on the rim and a drizzle of strawberry syrup if using.
  6. Serve immediately with a spoon and a straw.
